This term we have been learning about history in New Zealand. Last week we were learning about the discovery of the Moa (aka the largest bird to ever live). Of coarse the Maori already knew about the Moa, but it took the rest of the world years to discover; the Moa was already extinct.
In this recount we had to pretend we were Richard Owens; Richard Owens was the person to discover the Moa.
